Welcome, and thank you for visiting Trinity Chapel Presbyterian Church. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow human at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
We offer Children's Sunday School during Worship Service. Our children are learning about the whole Bible in three years using an interactive program called "Gospel Project." We have a team of teachers that take turns in nurturing our children in the Word.
Sunday Morning service is at 9:00 AM
We are using the Narrative Lectionary which is a four year walk through the Bible. Each fall, we focus on the Old Testament up until Advent. After Christmas, we then focus on one of the Gospels going into Easter. After Easter, we begin too look at the early church, as recorded in Acts and the Epistles.
Because of COVID-19 closing churches for worship, food is not being collected. They are still in need of food. Feel free to drop off any donations on the front porch of the manse.
Confirmation class will be held at the church after worship (or breakfast) beginning February 2nd for ten weeks.
MISSION IN A HANDBAG - We will once again be collecting filled purses to be given to the ladies at the Russell House in Rolla. And this year we will be collecting girls purses as well. Perhaps you have a daughter or granddaughter that would like to fill a purse for someone their age. New or gently used purses are used and appreciated items are personal care products, makeup, nail polish, socks, combs and brushes, jewelry, scarves, etc. The purses need to be brought to church no later than April 5 for delivery to Russell House the following week.
Worship online beginning around 9 am.
It is Palm Sunday and Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Jesus is entering on a colt from the east. Pilate is entering on his war horse from the west. Ahead of Jesus are the motley crew of Jerusalem. Tax collectors, lepers, the blind and the lame, prostitutes. An odd assortment of people. Ahead of Pilate are the soldiers of the Empire. Jesus comes as a king of peace. Pilate comes with violence and oppression. Jesus wins out at the end.
